When Emma got in touch to ask me to photograph her and Matt’s special day, I was thrilled. Not only as I could tell from the amazing venue that it was going to be a beautiful wedding, but because Emma is an old childhood friend who I haven’t seen in about 15 years! (Crikey that makes me feel old).
The picturesque venue Long Furlong Barn set the scene for a sweet, romantic and relaxed wedding. As the groom arrived by helicopter (yes, a real James Bond like helicopter!) by Elite Helicopter Flights guests gathered in the court yard of these beautiful old barns.
Emma looked stunning in a lace bohemian style dress from Grace Loves Lace, which perfectly complemented the rustic setting. Her flowers were pretty and simple, and her hair was finished with a flower crown.
I’ve photographed quite a few weddings now, but this couple were one of the easiest couples I have had the pleasure of working with. It was clear to see how well they got on, and I was never short of fun and amusing expressions that bring their wedding photographs to life.
The day ended with the most perfect sunset, and I could not help myself but take advantage of this opportunity by whisking Matt & Emma off for one last photoshoot. And we weren’t disappointed.
Thanks to everyone involved for making it a great day. If you’d like more information on my creative wedding photography please take a look at my main website www.mywildrose.co.uk.
