On a gorgeous sunny day mid September 2014, Oliver & Sarah married in front of their nearest and dearest at the beautiful Black Horse Inn in Thurnham, Kent. It was a small, and intimate ceremony held by Independent Celebrant Katie Keen from True Blue Ceremonies in this lovely venue in the Kent countryside.
As Oliver nervously waited, Sarah arrived in a beautiful vintage car arranged as a surprise by her mum. And as she walked down the aisle to the flower covered wooden gazebo, live music was provided by Duncan Howlett Guitarist. Sarah looked radiant in a simple and timeless strapless gown, with her hair plaited to one side.
After the ceremony, we were able thanks to the great weather we were blessed with that day, to sneak off for an hour to take some stunning portraits of the bride and groom. Sarah and Oliver had already expressed their love to be able to go up to Castle Hill where the old castle ruins lay. And the backdrop did not disappoint. I am a huge fan of photographing in our natural environment. I love the softness of the long grass, the textures of the old brickwork. The juxtaposition between these natural elements, and the beauty of the bride and groom always makes for stunning wedding photos in my opinion.
It was such a pleasure to be involved in this charming intimate occasion. I wish Sarah & Oliver all the love and luck in the world for their lives together.
Thanks to everyone involved for making it a great day. If you’d like more information on my creative wedding photography please take a look at my website www.mywildrose.co.uk. If you’d like to chat, get in touch through my CONTACT page..
